The much-awaited Agneepath movie has been in gossips section from the time when the renowned filmmaker Karan Johar made his ultimate decision to officially remake the Amitabh Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa starrer Agneepath (1990). The original one is been declared as a cult one because of its high-intense action drama and award winning performance by Amitabh. It was itself produced by Karan’s father Yash Johar, and thus Karan was very keen to remake the film.

This remake has got an immense build-up for the reason that of it’s a range of reasons. One being of course that it is a remake of the cult movie, secondly the deadly look of Sanjay Dutt as Kancha and brilliant actor Hrithik in Vijay Dinanath Chahaun’s role, next the impressive first-look theatrical promo which was released before Diwali, and the final one would be but obvious the stunning beauty Katrina Kaif as the sexiest and hottest item girl Chikni Chameli.

However publicity and build-up is in a straight line proportional to the hopes, and thus it is been said that no matter what kind of promotion is been done to trade the movie and music, might go down flat if the ultimate product is not in a first-rate quality. In spite of being an action-thriller cum revenge film, there are superior potentials from the music of Agneepath. Earlier the celebrated music composers Ajay and Atul have carried out a pretty well-brought-up music for the action movie Singham which was released this year, so let us find out how much they have impressed us by Agneepath this time

Chikni Chameli…

The boldest, sexiest and the hottest song of the year, Chikni Chameli, is as well an official redesign of Marathi song Kombadi Palali. Hence after knowing the fact that the makers are busy attaining all the attempted and experienced procedures below one roof, the final product still looks excellent.

Music composers Ajay-Atul’s super hit Marathi song ‘Kombadi Palali’ from Marathi movie ‘Jatra’ was an entertaining dance track and thus it has been recreated by the same composers itself into a sexy item song, featuring the stunning beauty Katrina with her boldest and gross moves.

Amitabh Bhattacharya’s lines however sounds only good, if compares it with the original. On the other hand, if one may not have heard the original version, they may perhaps find this one as excellent, especially the lines such as ‘Pahua Chadha Ke Aayee…’ Similarly if compared with the original version, the music as well sound good, as back of the mind one would listen the Marathi adaptation. But overall it does engage you in the company of Shreya Ghoshal’s first-rate singing efforts

Visually, Chikni Chameli brings the magical charm because of the gorgeous and the ever-sexy lady Katrina involved in it. Her boldest and gross choreograph moves definitely enthrals the audience. Musically do not expect like a Sheila, Munni or Chammak Chhalo as they are original and have their own charm, but Chikni Chameli will without a doubt pull off the blockbuster hit rank and would be definitely under the nomination of the best item song of that respective year.

O Saiyaan…

Out of the blue, after the tried & tested recreation and rewrites version, music composers Ajay and Atul brings the much essential freshness in ‘O Saiyaan’, seeing that the well-known singer Roop Kumar Rathod comes back with a bang

The composers take a twist in their album with this song by offering a pattern that is ambient. And where they take exemption from the simplicity the result is mind-blowing, be it the utilization of the santoor, or the vocal parts, or the beating. Singer Roop Kumar Rathod by no means falls short when it comes to the typical-based versions, and this track is no exception.

On the whole, it’s a sluggish but a touching number that hooks up the emotions. Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned down a few fine lyrics in this song.
